Can’t believe this is my last post – just as I’m getting the hang of it!!  Don’t know if everyone’s feeling the same but I’m now very nervous, happy, sad and as is obvious, totally mixed up about how I feel now that we’re coming to the end of the course.

Can’t believe it’s passed so quickly – where did it go – and that soon we’ll be off into the big, bad world!! 

This course has been life changing for me – whether I get a job in this field or not – as it has shown me that I am actually capable of things that I never thought I could do.  I actually began to, yes, enjoy groupwork and tested my nerve on speaking in front of the class – things I had dreaded, probably because I had never done them.  I have now – more or less(!) – overcome my fears which has given my confidence a huge boost.  And after doing part-time, often mind numbing admin jobs for nearly 18 years while I brought my daughter up, I have spent the last 9 months doing something really interesting that actually gave me a lot of personal insights as well as insights into how to help others.  Really interesting – loved it!  Is that too far…?

So glad there are no more essays, can’t wait to be finished, can’t wait to have a rest, can’t wait to have a job and some money…. (0:

….but….it’s going to seem so weird not to see the usual faces in 408 every day….and have our little chats in the refectory (won’t miss the new coffee machine, though!)….and read each others blogs….and moan about doing essays….and….OK, I’ll stop there – you get my drift….    )0:
